Delivering his first sermon at a youth rally at the age of 16, Dr. Terry Tramel entered the ministry full time as an Evangelist immediately upon graduating high school in 1979, driving a motorhome from his home in Norman, OK, to the West Coast of California to the East Coast of Virginia and all points in between.

From 1989 through 1996, Tramel pastored Churches in Oklahoma and North Carolina before a calling to change his ministry to a full time college professor, serving as Professor and Chair the Bible and Theology department at Southwestern Christian University for 15 years.

Since 2016 Doctor Tramel has served as the Director of Global Outreach and Leadership Development for the International Pentecostal Holiness Church. His work at IPHC focuses on working with Missionaries on spreading the Gospel throughout the World.

Dr. Tramel has been married to his wife Beckie since 1980. They have two children, daughter Tara Light and son Clayton Tramel. Dr. Tramel is an avid Football fan and with his family, a proud Dog lover.
